The short version: your data stays on your device. NxtGenTV Elite has no accounts of its own, no analytics service, no advertising, and no servers that receive your data. We cannot see what you watch, and we do not want to.
What the app stores, and where
Everything below is stored only on your device, in the app's own private storage:
- IPTV service credentials you enter — server address, username, password, or portal/MAC details. The active login is encrypted using your device's hardware-backed keystore. Saved profiles are stored in the app's sandboxed storage. These credentials are sent only to the IPTV service you yourself configured, never to us or anyone else.
- Viewing state — watch history, favorites, resume positions, recordings, scheduled recordings, and your settings.
- Performance diagnostics — written only to a local file on your device to adapt playback to your hardware. They are never uploaded; the app contains no mechanism to do so.
Network connections the app makes
- Your IPTV provider — to sign in, load channel and program listings, and stream the content you request. Your credentials and requests go directly to the provider you configured. That provider's own privacy practices apply to that connection.
- The Movie Database (TMDB) and public image services — to fetch artwork and metadata for titles in your listings. These requests contain title lookups only, never your identity or credentials.
- DNS resolution — if your network's DNS fails, the app may resolve addresses via encrypted DNS-over-HTTPS (Google Public DNS or Cloudflare). Only hostnames are sent, exactly as with any ordinary DNS lookup.
What we never do
- No collection, sale, or sharing of personal data. No analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No advertising. No account registration with us.
- Cloud and device backups are disabled for the app's data, including all credentials.
Content
NxtGenTV Elite is a media player. It ships with no channels, no playlists, and no content sources. It plays only media from services you supply and are authorized to use. You are responsible for your own service subscriptions.
Children
NxtGenTV Elite is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, regardless of age.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app, or using Android's "Clear storage," removes everything the app stored. Nothing exists anywhere else to delete.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected at this same URL with an updated effective date above.
